Engineering Creativity +25

Engineering Creativity +25

Under the motto “Engineering Creativity +25”, CEiiA brought together people who have been part of its history for a moment of sharing and reflection on 25 years of projects and challenges—years filled with dreams and the drive to build the future.

The event included a reflection on CEiiA’s journey, moderated by Ana Rita Ramos, where Helena Silva, João Jesus Caetano, Jacinto Bettencourt, Miguel Braga, and Emir Sirage shared key moments from a trajectory that began in the automotive and mobility sectors and extended into aeronautics and space.

There was also a discussion moderated by Manuel Heitor on CEiiA’s role in today’s global challenges, with contributions from Isabel Furtado, Luísa Salgueiro, Maria João Baptista, António Grilo, Braz Costa, and Pedro Arezes.

The book “Man Dreams, the Work is Born” was presented, authored by Ana Rita Ramos and Ana Sofia Rodrigues, which tells the story of CEiiA’s 25 years through the personal stories of those who helped shape it. The book also served as the foundation for a “Dialogue about Tomorrow” between José Rui Felizardo and Manuel Heitor.

There was also a special tribute to Aloísio Leão, who dreamed with us, believed, and made things happen in the industry and at CEiiA, and who continues to inspire the path we are building.

And because “Engineering Creativity” is one of CEiiA’s core values that has shaped its journey so far, the event also featured a small concert by the singer Milhanas and a live painting by the artist The Caver.
