OVERVIEW
The BEHYOND (“Bolstering the joint operation of Hydrogen and Offshore wiND”) project plans to develop an innovative modular solution for hydrogen production from offshore wind energy, for multiple end-uses. The solution will be able to be deployed worldwide, producing and transferring hydrogen in large-scale, in order to be used in the decarbonization of the economy while handling the wind energy intermittency. The project will support the development of the renewable energy sector by developing a new offshore wind-to-hydrogen platform.
The objective of the BEHYOND project is to develop engineering conceptual solution and sub-systems definition to support the technical-economic model and competitiveness studies of a modular solution to produce hydrogen in large-scale from offshore wind energy.
