OVERVIEW

ASTRIIS has the ambition to develop a set of services (integrated solutions) aimed at different sectors related to the sea (economy, environment, security, tourism, etc.) that take advantage of the ability to integrate multiple data sources and models for produce value-added information focused on user needs. ASTRIIS also aims to guarantee a sustainable service that can survive well beyond the time horizon of this project. The expected benefits for users include the ability to acquire information (rather than data) that is accurate, reliable, intuitive and usable by non-specialized stakeholders, resulting from the integration of different data sets (including model results), the ability to receive reports regular (for example, diaries) with information on selected parameters and / or notifications (warnings and alerts) in case of occurrence of a certain situation (resulting from a condition or combination of conditions).
