OVERVIEW

Mobicascais is a project with the municipality of Cascais in order to design an integrated strategy for mobility management. It is focused on the integration of all the mobility services (buses, parking, shared bikes, …) and all the mobility operators of Cascais in a single system based on mobi.me. This allows the creation of a single and therefore easier mobility interface for the users all over the territory.

 

This project does also include the development of an innovative bike parking and sharing service, through the development of universal bike docking stations (also capable of charging the batteries of electric bikes). The municipality intends to deploy 1,200 shared bikes (electric and non-electric) and 2,000 docking stations for both the public and private bikes.
