  • Propose and develop new geometries / optimizations according to objectives that provide solutions to the challenges  encountered in the previous analyses.

  • Perform the process of calculating and validating parts / components / assemblies in light of the structural requirements.

  • Interpret problems, objectives, requirements and analysis strategies as well as define the most appropriate type of analysis to be carried out (analytical, numerical, mixed, static).

  • Build finite element meshes from CAD geometries and prepare the modelling.

  • Implement finite element models to perform time or frequency analysis.

  • Prepare finite element models and interpret results of analysis of forced vibration and the structures response.

  • Analyze structural responses, determine the source of problems and propose optimizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
WHO YOU ARE
  • Graduated in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Naval, Automotive or similar engineering

  • Good english skills.

  • Knowledgeable of structural design, mechanics of materials and structural analysis.

  • Knowledgeable of materials and manufacturing processes and technologies.

  • Knowledgeable of structural damping and strategy to eliminate resonance problems.

  • Ability to generate transfer functions and analyze transfer paths (transfer path analysis).

  • Knowledgeable in Altair HyperWorks software.

  • Critical spirit and concept analysis skills.

  • Flexibility to face rework.

  • Problem solving and synthesis skills.

  • Resilience.
